Capitol Hill Architecture/Art Online Tour

 I recently organized an
Architectural/Art Walking tour of Capitol Hill
to benefit the Center on Contemporary Art,
in conjunction with their BLURRED Architecture/Art Exhibit.

A unique walking tour of dozens of unique buildings, interesting
spaces, architectural offices, design studios, private residences,
artist's studios, and other places seldom open to the public.
Award-winning urban lofts, penthouse apartments, artist's private
galleries, unique working studios and alternative art galleries.

CoCA blurs the line between architecture and art, form
and function, content and chaos. Explore the breadth
and depth of architectural possibility in the Northwest.

Foster Residence
Blending traditional and contemporary themes,
this new 1900 SF house has a European flavor.
Simple materials -- concrete, metal, glass and plywood --
find their place alongside more refined materials
like hardwoods and granite.
The home received the 2000 Home of the Year Award
by the American Institute of Architects/Seattle Times.
